Nintendo DS

The Nintendo DS (DS or NDS) was released in 2004. A dual screened handheld, one of with is touch enabled, featured a clamshell design like the Nintendo SP, had a built-in microphone, and supported WiFi. This was the first Nintendo console to be released in North America prior to Japan. In 2006, a revamped model called the DS Lite was launched.
